The Skeleturtle is one of several obstacles faced by Mighty Max when he confronts the evil Skull Master. Though it is unclear how, Max manages to escape from the Skeleturtle's range of attack.
Animated Series[]
Unlike the version seen in the toyline, the Skeleturtle is a race of creatures that Skull Master has surrounded his underground lair with. These massive beasts are deadly, but slow and unintelligent, and Max, Norman, and Virgil are often able to defeat them without much hassle.
